COACE® W5AS is an epoxy modified olefin copolymer elastomer with high content of reactive groups.
Product Description
COACE® W5AS is an epoxy modified olefin copolymer elastomer with high content of reactive groups. High polarity epoxy groups provide good adhesion between the polyester and infilled materials, also they have a chain-extending effect on polyesters, especially on PET and its recycled materials. Elastomer as the base polymer of W5AS improves the impact strength to the compounds.
Typical Application
To be used as toughener in polyester materials and their compounds, like PBT, PET, PC, etc. To be used as inhibitor for most polyester blending compounds, such as PBT/PC, PET/PC, etc.To be used as impact modifiers in recycled polyesters, such as R-PET, R-PETG and others. AX8900, PTX
To be used as coupling agent in polyester base composite compounds, such as PBT/GF, PBT/Talc, PBT/FR/GF, PET/GF, etc.
