Product Description
COACE B1A is a chemically functionalized polypropylene with high content of maleic anhydride. Grafted maleic anhydride brings polarity to base polymer and outstanding bond character on different fillers, such as glass fiber, mineral filler or natural fibres.
It could be used as compatibilizer for Polypropylene and Polyamide to make PP/PA blends. It could also be used as a coupling agent for glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene, or called PP/GF composites. The high MFR of B1A could ensure the coupling agent with a good fluidity during the process in twin-screw extruder.
Typical Application
To be used as coupling agent in polypropylene(PP) base compounds, such as PP/GF, PP/CaCO3, PP/fiber, PP/wood powder, etc.
To be used as compatibilizers for polypropylene alloys, such as PP/PA, etc.
